The challenge: Medical aesthetics is one of UAE's most visually competitive social media categories — clinics compete for attention on Instagram against international brands with large production budgets. IMC Medical Center needed a design system that communicated clinical credibility and aesthetic premium simultaneously, while remaining practically manageable for the internal team to produce content from week to week.
The approach: The design system was built around a modular template architecture — four core post formats (treatment education, before/after framework, seasonal offer, FAQ) that the team can populate without a designer present. Typography hierarchy was established to ensure key treatment names and CTAs are legible at thumb-scroll speeds on a 390px mobile screen. The colour application references the clinic's brand palette while adding enough visual variety to prevent feed fatigue.
Compliance architecture: Caption prompts and content pillar guidelines were developed alongside the visual templates — covering tone of voice, compliant claim structures (avoiding before/after language that violates DHA advertising guidelines), and hashtag strategy segmented by treatment category and audience intent.
What was delivered: Instagram post templates (1080×1350 feed, 1080×1920 Stories, 1080×1080 square), Reels cover templates, editable Adobe source files, Canva equivalents for team use, and a usage guide covering compliance, tone, and publishing cadence.
The outcome: A scalable social media design system that maintains premium visual consistency across the clinic's Instagram presence without requiring a designer for every post cycle.
